To create a more usable space for the Geology Department, we converted roughly 2,000 square feet of existing lab space, office space, and a sitting area. Located in the heart of campus, we made sure to secure public safety while also coordinating wall removals, multiple utility outages, and tying in to the existing live exhaust system to install a new fume hood. The department needed a bigger work area to house more students and equipment for research, including exhaust snorkels, stainless steel ductwork, fiberglass ductwork modifications, and laboratory casework and shelving.
