The College of Veterinary Medicine needed a completely new system for managing disposal of animal remains. The existing system was extremely out of date and was not reliable. We worked with the design team to develop a plan for the new tissue digester system selected by UF. Upon plan approval, we completely demolished the existing system and its surrounding components. Coordinating directly with the equipment supplier, we made sure we provided accurate utilities located precisely where required.
Overall, we provided a safe, accessible, and sanitary environment for the new tissue digester system through UF’s MP-13 continuing services contract. Finishing touches included building a new removable, elevated floor system to surround the new machine.
