Created from halving a former computer lab of roughly 10,000 square feet, the new Active Learning Center enhances student learning by teaching IT technology skills. Each learning station individually controls multiple TV monitors and functions as a separate cluster or a unified whole, depending on the number of groups. Running all audio/visual wires and data lines from TV monitors to multiple learning stations required elevated access flooring. Renovations also included a new storefront entrance with an ADA ramp, a tailored wall layout with new flooring, and the latest in LED lighting and controls.
