Oelrich Construction worked with the UF Department of Housing & Residence Education to complete a 78 day renovation of a major dormitory over the summer. Oelrich Construction remodeled all the gang bathrooms and student lounges in this five story structure. Our team worked 12 hour days, seven days a week to meet UF Housing’s critical Fall move-in deadline. We rotated two superintendents out each week to ensure vigilant supervision of all construction activities and maximum around-the-clock production. At one point, 140 trade contractors worked on-site on a single day to meet the residence hall’s aggressive timeline!
Three dumpsters were stationed on-site and pulled five times a day… nearly 300 yards of separated debris were generated and treated as per UF’s sustainability guidelines as part of this extensive project.
