The Lazy Mac’s Taco Shack restaurant build-out project involved construction inside an active movie theater. Noisy construction activities were conducted after midnight or before 7:30 a.m. to avoid interruptions during the theater’s regular operating hours. Temporary protection was installed on the first and second floors to protect existing finishes. Scope of work included demolition, acoustical ceiling, flooring, painting, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical. The completed restaurant now serves visitors in Lake Sumter Landing in The Villages.
